Lightsaber fight scene

This scene is a lightsaber fight that we choreographed and captured sometime in the summer of 2001. Andrew shot and edited the scene without a camera man for half the fight. The shoot was real quick, took about two days but it was a lot of fun. Andrew is fighting our friend Kody in his backyard. Russell saw the video later that summer and started loading up sound effects on his computer. Using a simple laser effect in Adobe After Effects he composited the entire fight to make it look the way it is. The sabers look pretty cool, we eventually tried different approaches to the light saber effect in After Effects but this was the first shot. All in all we thought it was pretty cool...
